Author Information

Lynn Carriker is a former elementary school teacher. She currently lives in Massachusetts and works as a visiting nurse, specializing in palliative and end-of-life care. She is the mother of three and grandmother of four. She finds joy in her faith, family, and friends. When she isn't working, you'll find her painting or enjoying nature and the great outdoors with her children and grandchildren. The proceeds from this book will be given to organizations working with bereaved children. Lynn has also self-published the book HOPE, perfect for pre-teens and teenagers as they make their way in this world. Originally from Colombia and raised in Puerto Rico, artist and illustrator Carolina Kaufman believes in creating diverse, multi-cultural characters which audiences can relate to. Inspired by her own childhood and art education experiences around the world, she illustrated Hope by Lynn Carriker and currently teaches the next generation of creative thinkers.
