Overview

In less than one second, Ray Ferrari's world turns upside down. He was completely unaware that the Rapture had just taken place. Ray's pleasant lunch in the park was abruptly interrupted by the sounds of car crashes and screaming people. He quickly looked around. The street preacher had vanished along with most of his outdoor congregation. The elderly couple walking by inexplicably disappeared. Where did everybody go? Back at Mimtrin's corporate offices, the leader of the next-generation construction management software, Mimstruct Pro, had vanished. The next person up was gone. The company is bidding to become the software of choice for the third Temple in Jerusalem. The CEO catapults Ray to the role of leader for the Temple III project. As a non-believer, Ray never had the desire to read the Bible. He knows, however, that this is no ordinary building. In order to credibly communicate with Jews and Christians on the selection committee, he will need Bible basics and a condensed history of the Temple. Grasping the passion of both religions for this project poses unique challenges for an unbelieving Ray. As the new leader, Ray discovers sabotage on the project. The company's largest competitor is trying to steal intellectual property. Who is behind the attempted murder of a key employee? A series of highly improbable coincidences that lead to answers makes Ray question his atheism. To Ray, pure faith in God, any god, is not rational. An up-and-coming star at the United Nations is miraculously changing the world landscape while beginning to bring calm to a world in chaos. Ray's quandaries grow exponentially with each twist and turn.
