Author Information

First-time author Lauren Tarrant is a wearer of many hats. She is a teacher of yoga and meditation, a singer, songwriter, musician, and artist. Having been a primary school teacher, Lauren believes that children are innately wise and intelligent, and loves supporting both children and adults alike to find and shine their light. Jennifer Horn is a Brisbane-based illustrator and children's writer. Her fairytale debut picture book ""The Precious Plum"" was shortlisted for the 2022 Little Pink Dog's Authorstrator Prize. When Jen was little, she was always asking her Grandma to pause the VHS so she could copy the animation on the screen. With a background in architecture and film, Jen draws on her love of stories and travel to create whimsical illustrations. Madi Waugh is the owner of Sprout Joy, a design studio that helps self-publishing authors create impact driven publications. Madi is obsessed with book layout design, typography and clean effective visual communication. She is on a mission to support humans of all ages in their personal growth and inspire positive change across the world with books that communicate important messages in a fun and joyful way.
