When Your Spouse Isn't Catholic

Overview

If you are preparing to marry or are already married to someone who isn't Catholic, you will want and need this practical resource for living with and loving your spouse faithfully. Responding to the growing number of mixed-faith marriages, Carol Gastelum wrote this Handing on the Faith booklet for couples who want and need to connect and share their respective faiths with understanding, love and commitment, especially when raising children Catholic. Gastelum fills this resource with real-life stories of couples in mixed-faith marriages, and she addresses the critical issues of daily married life when one spouse is Catholic and the other is not, such as church attendance, prayer practices, home rituals, and family religious and holiday celebrations. She includes questions for reflection and prayers to help couples grow together spiritually throughout their lives together.
