Jackie's love of stories began as a young girl, in the backyard of secret gardens and swimming pools of magical mermaids. Stories quickly became her sacred place as she lost herself in the lives of her favorite friends and foes. She's passionate about creating stories of goodness and hope for the worlds littlest heroes. She lives in the greater Seattle area with her husband, who exclusively does all her illustrations, and her three wild daughters, whom she loves with ferocity. When Teddi Met Quinn: A Tale of Courage is Jackie's first Children's book Long before Yohan could read, he found himself drawing pictures out of anything he could get his hands on, including a dinner plate of leftover spaghetti sauce. Yohan's art and story inspiration comes from living his life in four different countries (Korea, Hong Kong, New Zealand and America) and likes to boast in his ability to pack an extraordinary moving box. As a long time music teacher, he's enjoys uncovering a child's hidden talent, skills and passions as every child has a treasure chest full of possibilites.
