Reviews

When Silence Speaks is a wonderful account of the life of Venerable Elisabeth Leseur. Jennifer Moorcroft's in-depth research and translation of text from the original French provides added insight into the life and holiness of this Servant of God. Moorcroft provides further details on the crosses that Elisabeth so patiently endured, and the great love Elisabeth had for her renowned husband Felix, who was both the cause of some of her suffering but more importantly the focus of her prayerful intentions and sacrifices. This leads to a stunning, miraculous transformation that--particularly in our modern world--might be dismissed if it were not so well documented. All Christians--and all people of good will--will be enriched by reading this account of the life of Elisabeth Leseur. Michael Burny, Attorney, California
