Author Information

Stephen Cunningham, a nationally awarded life-long engineer, has advanced the art of reciting children's verse and poetry, as a personal endeavor for decades, from bed-time readings, to metro-Detroit classrooms, to poetry circles and even a weekend gathering in the Rockies. But now, after a decades-long career writing loads of network technology stuff, he's changed course and is hard at work writing fun stuff for adults to read to children. And, as 'indie publisher of this first book, with Kate, he is excited to bring this story to life and share it. Steve lives in Hazel Park, Michigan, with Gloria his wife of 40+ years, together enjoying life with their three daughters and eight grandchildren. Kate Henriott-Jauw is an artist and mom to seven amazing children and two grandchildren. She is an award winning illustrator and author of several books. In addition, Kate can be found teaching art to disabled adults and children through a local non-profit and she enjoys sharing art in all its forms as a way to bring people together.
