Robert Maass is the author and photographer of many books for children, including Little Trucks with Big Jobs, When Autumn Comes, When Winter Comes, When Spring Comes, and When Summer Comes, as well as Garden, which was named an Outstanding Science Trade Book for Children. A photojournalist for a variety of publications and a filmmaker, he lives in Brooklyn with his family.
