Author Information

The author is a retired teacher who has written a wide variety of poetry since her youth. Her lifetime goal and dream have been to have a book published. She and her husband live in a small town. Most of her extended family includes grandchildren and several great-grandchildren who live nearby. She has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Elementary education. She also has an early childhood special education certification. Her most important and rewarding job was working as a special education teacher. She taught young children with special needs for thirty years. Her interests besides writing have included gardening, canning, sewing, photography, and bird watching. She collects dolls, bottles, turtles and rocks. She has always appreciated nature and loves working outside.
