Dr. Katie Armstrong lives in Peoria, Arizona, with her two boys. She has been a teacher of students with visual impairments for the past eighteen years, specializing in early childhood education and learners with complex learning needs. Kam the Koala's story is a passion project derived from all the playful years Katie spent leading a preschool classroom. In her free time, Katie enjoys being outside, enjoying the Arizona sunshine, and playing with her boys! You will often find her running on the desert trails, riding her bike, paddleboarding on the lakes, or playing pickleball.
