Every kid loves the playground! But not every child will experience a trip to the park the same way. Neurodivergent children may seem different to others. But that's because they experience the world in their own unique way. In this children's picture book, we present the many ways autistic kids might do things a little differently at the playground. We cover communication, sensory-seeking, stimming, transitions, turn-taking, social skills and many more of the common features and challenges associated with autism, ADHD, and AuDHD. With fun illustrations, and engaging rhyming text, we present and celebrate all the differences and create understanding about the challenges. About the Author This book was written by an author in the education space for over 20 years, who is also the mother of two autistic boys. The series was inspired by her eldest son, who has the confidence to be himself and let everyone know he is unique and has his own ways, but his ways are never wrong. As he says, ""whatever you see, that's just me!""
