OverviewWhatever We Once Were presents a series of essays examining the damage done to our society and political institutions from decades of a progressive agenda. Starting with the counterculture movement of the 1960s, it examines the decline of our school systems, bias against Christians, immigration failures, media bias, and the move toward one world government. The radical, long-haired, unshaven hippies and flower children of the sixties are now wearing expensive suits and clean haircuts and running for political office. Their clothes and hygiene may have changed, but in most cases, their radical political ideas have not. Many prominent figures have also had a profound influence on the current social and cultural environment, including Alfred Kinsey, John Dewey, and Walter Lippmann. Kinsey's research, using questionable methods and sexual deviants as his subjects, helped open the door to today's climate of acceptance of aberrant sexual behavior as completely normal. We need to beat the drums a little louder to wake America up to the very liberal and radical leadership in our country today. This series of essays seeks to educate the public to the manipulation and indoctrination tactics being used by the progressive agenda to establish the greater good of the collective.
