Dr. Anthony A. Hughes, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist from Utah. He holds a PhD from Brigham Young University, and through his private practice, Covenant Sex Therapy, he counsels couples in both Salt Lake and Utah County. He has taught graduate level sex therapy at Brigham Young University and is currently a faculty member at Argosy University, teaching courses on sex therapy. He has presented, lectured, and published nationally on the topic of sexual health and intimacy. A devoted Latter-day Saint, Dr. Hughes is particularly sensitive to the plight of LDS couples who find that their conservative upbringings and lack of sexual experience present a roadblock to fulfilling marital intimacy. A devoted family man who is married to a fellow therapist, Dr. Hughes enjoys all the outdoor amenities of his Utah home, including skiing, snowboarding, and running. He even gets a kick out of yard work.
