Author Information

Rich Snyder, DO, holds a medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Snyder completed his residency in internal medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital and his nephrology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is board certified in both internal medicine and nephrology. He is also the author and coauthor of numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and the best-selling What You Must Know about Dialysis. In addition to teaching future clinicians, Dr. Snyder maintains a part-time clinical nephrology practice in eastern Pennsylvania. Llambro Llaguri Jr. received his master's degree in biomedical science from the University of Pittsburgh. With a background in biology and psychology, he focuses on improving medical literacy and advocating for patients. In collaboration with Dr. Richard Snyder, DO, Llambro strives to make complex medical information accessible and empowering for readers. Beyond academics, he is dedicated to volunteering with local hospitals and organizations in eastern Pennsylvania.
