WHAT MATTERS IS, YOU! ------- AND WHAT YOU DO This book is for Earth's concerned population providing tools and information empowering readers to respond and actively deal with, and redirect, the one percent of the population motivated by selfish greed who have misguided and dis-informed most about the status of energy and climate conditions existing. Climate destruction now has adversely affected all life on earth by self-serving actions of profit seekers, who promoted and, misdirected, business and public policy. Combustion of carbon containing fuels, principally Petroleum and Coal has unbalanced Earth's climate, perhaps beyond recovery. Two elements of Earths current industrialized status need to change. One is over population. Earth has the capacity to feed 2 billion sustainably, but now has 7 billion humans, that is not a long term sustainable situation it must, and will change. Corporations have developed systems burning carbon for energy. Carbon dioxide from combustion of petroleum and coal is killing life forms that sustain humans. Burning carbon is a choice, not a necessity. The cleanest lowest cost fuel on earth is hydrogen extracted from water using electricity from atmospheric wind. Hydrogen is local not requiring war or military forces to control overseas sources of petroleum. Burning hydrogen will allow earth to restore balance. If done now, earth may remain habitable for continued human activity. All technology for hydrogen use is available. Humans have all the information to control population, only attitudes must change to avoid chaos from starvation and human migrants struggling, fighting for food. President Obama's debt commission, chaired by Erskine Bowles and Alan K Simpson studying the national debt, did not find a solution to the debt problem, because all their deliberations look at the past trajectory of the U.S. Economy and its future trajectory as if they must be or are the same. That is a limited view because the trajectory cannot be one of Growth , which is the basic economic idea nearly all politicians now promote. This work points out that the correct trajectory for the United States and World economy is opposite to Growth . Survival requires an alternate path, one that is realistic, as illustrated inside.
