We often think of idols as statues. God says anyone or anything that takes the place of Him is an idol or a god. Such things as objects or people that replaces the Lord thy God, have become your god, which also is your idol. God says His people are perishing for lack of knowledge and He will lead them down a path that they know not. You cannot serve two masters, choose which path you will follow, God or mammon (god). He says you will hate Him and love the other or you will be ignorant to one and cherish the other. Choose this day who you will serve.
