A Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Studies graduate of the University of Illinois and Iowa State University, Becky is passionate about teaching, having used her degrees in a variety of non-traditional ways. She has taught two-year old children through adults in a variety of settings: traditional high school and preschool classroom, corporate auditorium and boardroom, conference workshops, cable access show, contractual trainer, rustic retreats, environmental education, Christian education, private classes and through curriculum writing. She lives in Missouri with her husband, and a collection of animals on acreage filled with flowers and landscapes reminiscent of the Great North. Her two grown sons and their families are a delight in her life. She loves to read, has a prolific card ministry, has been involved in Christian Education since graduating from college, has taught pre-school children about God's love since 1981, and is involved in prison ministry through the Story Link Program. Becky is the author and publisher of Miraculous, Magical Moments in Minutes: Over 500 Quick, Easy Activities for Adults and Children to Share. She enjoys presenting workshops and writing a weekly blog for parents and caregivers, equipping them with creative ways to interact with children. She is the co-author of Successful Outcomes...Tips for Trainers that is a companion piece for the Michigan Child Care Futures Project, State Curriculum.
