""Diversity"" means different varieties. Neurodiversity is about the different ways our brains and nervous system work. We are all unique and diverse and this makes us special. It is not something to be ashamed of or something to make fun of as every brain works differently. There is no perfect brain as they are forever changing and growing! Lisa Van Der Wielen is a primary school teacher and author from Perth, Western Australia.
