In Volume 7, What Is God (and Where Is God?), the story follows Shiloh, a curious, witty, and wonder-filled boy who asks the biggest questions of all. With the gentle presence of his father, Shiloh discovers that God is not far away, hidden, or separate. Instead, God is Love itself, present in the trees, the laughter they share, the kindness between people, and the light within. This book was born from my own struggle to understand the contradictions of different beliefs. How could this be the same God when everyone described Him differently? Why was I told to fear, to plead, or to accept answers that never settled my heart? My lifelong search for truth showed me that real peace does not come from fear or dogma, but from discovering the Divine presence within, the most beautiful part of myself, reflected back in joy, family, love, and everything that made my heart sing. That spark inside me was also connected to something far greater than the mind can explain, but that the soul has always known. My hope in sharing Shiloh's story is to give children permission to ask questions, to wonder, and to seek truth in their own way. They do not need to accept every belief handed to them, especially when it feels confusing or contradictory. Instead, they can discover their own relationship with the Divine spark inside, a truth that brings peace, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
