Overview

Thirteen alien entities are sent to planet Earth to guide humanity; however, influenced by human frailties, the group loses its focus and redirects its efforts in the wrong direction, to the detriment of mankind. Eventually, realizing the error of his ways, the group's leader tries but fails to redirect his cohorts back on the right path, but is overwhelmed by them and is entombed in a crypt in Pompeii. Two thousand years later, the group's leader escapes his incarceration and, with the help of unwitting humans, sets out to wreak vengeance on those who betrayed him.

I have long believed that religion is the greatest threat to mankind, being the cause of nearly every major conflict that has ever taken place across our planet throughout mankind's existence. I believe if we could get past these religious influences and unite our world, then the ability to overcome death and destruction, poverty and disease would be in our grasp.
