Overview

What if God meant what He said? was written to address questions that have come up time and time again in evangelism and Bible discussions. Is there really only one God? Is he concerned with our day to day lives and sympathetic or is he distant and overbearing? What does he want with us? Do we have any obligation to him? Answering questions like these are the building blocks to our faith and our walk with God. Our actions are affected by our beliefs, so identifying what we believe is not only helpful but also essential as we navigate life. I grew up in Alberta and was raised by parents who loved the Lord and instilled in me the importance of loving and serving God. Through my child and teen years, having the opportunity to attend Bible camps played an important role in growing in my faith. After years of working at Bible Camps in British Columbia and Alberta, leading in youth groups and Bible studies, my wife and I started our own Bible camp, Firelight Ranch Camp, and ran it for a number of years. Spending time with horses and sharing the gospel have continually been an interest of mine. Recently I have had the opportunity to do some occasional preaching and I have enjoyed the challenge it presented. I now reside in Alberta with my family and look forward to what God has next for us.
