Overview

Some Christians believe that Muhammad wrote the Qur'an and do not know that he was illiterate and could not read or write. Other Christians have never read the Qur'an and do not know its message or content. This book is an attempt to clear misconceptions and answer basic questions such as who wrote the Qur'an and how was it preserved and if the Qur'an is a divine revelation, then what is the evidence for its authenticity. There are similarities between the Qur'an and the New Testament regarding morals and ethics and our accountability to God, yet there are differences especially in the concept of the Trinity and the divinity of Jesus Christ. Islam is based on the Qur'an and the teachings of Muhammad. Muhammad remains an enigma to many people. Few Christians know his life story or the message that he preached. It also discusses many misconceptions about Muhammad, like the wars that he engaged in and his many marriages, and discusses his noble character.
