Teresa Vasilopoulos is a fundraising executive with a 25-year track record of leading highly successful multi-million-dollar campaigns. Her career in philanthropy spans leadership roles in the hospital, education, youth, poverty, social services, and international development sectors. Teresa has a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation, an EMBA from the Queen's University School of Business, and is a Director of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Foundation for Philanthropy of Canada, and AFP GTA Chapter Boards. In 2022, she received the AFP Global Outstanding Fundraising Professional award. Teresa hopes to inspire young readers to see beyond their own needs and find happiness through doing good. Vic Guiza is an award-winning creative development designer with more than 37 years of experience in comics, children's books, illustration, animation, and toy development. Vic has illustrated for top brands including Disney, The Simpsons (Bongo Comics), Marvel Comics/Upper Deck, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, among others. Vic has received multiple awards for his work as a children's book illustrator. He holds a Master of Product Arts from Disney Consumer Products, two separate Masters in Emotional Biology & Conduct, and a B.A. in Communications. Vic brings stories to life through his illustrations and captures the true essence of each character to engage the reader and inspire imagination.
