Minnie Birdsong is the guest at the party who brought all the books! If there's a reason to give a gift to someone, she'll make sure it is something to read. When Minnie isn't writing children's books, she enjoys climbing around in her family tree to collect stories about the generations among the branches. The name Minerva goes a long, long way back...and that makes Minnie feel extra connected to all of her grandmothers! She lives in Manhattan with her roommate, a hamster named Teeny. (psssst! Minnie Birdsong is actually a pen name for the Cottage Door Press team who worked on this book.) Pamela is a freelance illustrator based in a small city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. During the past 6 years she has collaborated with several Argentinian as well as foreign publishers. Her illustrations are packed with fun and colorful characters. Specifically the giant ""search and find"" pieces that she really enjoys creating. She also loves to draw outdoor scenes, all kinds of cute animals, and (of course!) playful kids. Music and fruit flavored-teas are a must during working hours.
