English summary: The focus of this catalog is the collection of stone works which largely goes back to the princely origin of the museum's collection. It covers a wide spectrum of different genres, ranging from free-standing sculptures and reliefs to works of applied art. The first part combines essays on interdisciplinary issues concerning this part of the collection with a scientific catalog. The history and catalog raisonne of the museum's 1888/89 plaster cast collection are the second focus of this volume. The collection of plaster casts was extended into the 20th century and supplemented by elaborate color versions and reconstructions of antique sculptures. This now-lost part of the collection offers an unusually telling example of the appreciation of plaster in the 19th and 20th centuries. German description: Im Fokus dieses Katalogs steht der weitgehend auf die furstlichen Wurzeln der Sammlung zuruckgehende Bestand der Werke aus Stein. Er deckt ein weites Spektrum unterschiedlicher Gattungen ab, das von freiplastischen Skulpturen und Reliefs bis hin zu Werken der Angewandten Kunst reicht. Der erste Teil verbindet Aufsatze zu ubergreifenden Fragestellungen, die dieses Sammlungsgebiet betreffen, mit einem wissenschaftlichen Katalog. Geschichte und Werkverzeichnis der 1888/89 angelegten Gipsabguss-Sammlung des Museums bilden den zweiten Schwerpunkt des Bandes. Die Sammlung der Gipsabformungen wurde bis in das 20.
