Bracken loves adventures. His favorite friend is his grandmother, Gram. Gram is brave and strong and always up for an adventure. On this visit, Bracken decides it is time to go on a dinosaur hunt. As they enter the ""Dinosaur Forest"", Gram is a little nervous, but Bracken gently coaxes her forward. They enjoy stomping and roaring like dinosaurs. They look behind trees and rocks. But suddenly things change, and they find more than they bargained for. They climb a hill where they encounter a Stegosaurus lurking and Bracken helps Gram to run and hide. They climb down the hill where they encounter a Triceratops crossing their path and Bracken helps Gram to run and hide. Gram, fearing an encounter with a T. rex, decides it is time for them to return home. Bracken bravely guides Gram back through the forest. Just as they approach an enormous tree, they hear a ferocious ROAR. Gram sees a T. rex. This time she does not hesitate to run. Gram and Bracken run fast, Fast, FAST until they are out of the Dinosaur Forest. We're Going to the Dinosaur Forest is a story of fun, adventure, and finding your bravery when you need it the most! Other boys and girls will relate to the characters in this story through their own experiences. Maybe their adventure was through a jungle rather than a forest or maybe they were hunting bears instead of dinosaurs.

Marie is a native New Englander and part-time Southerner. She lives in Connecticut and travels to Virginia where she loves spending time with her grandchildren, especially reading bedtime stories and wandering into marvelous adventures. When she realized how much her grandchildren enjoyed seeing their adventures come to life in pictures, she began writing about them.She finds her role as the ""Marvel Action Grandmother"" in her grandchildren's imaginary adventures offers her many whimsical ideas for storytelling. We're Going to the Dinosaur Forest is her first book. Penny Weber is a full time illustrator from Holbrook, New York. She works on photoshop creating illustrations that mimic her background in watercolors and acrylics. She has been lucky enough to illustrate many, many, many children's books. She lives with her husband and two of her three children and as of this writing she is heavily lobbying for a puppy. Linda H. Powers founded Powers Design in 1987 - a creative services agency specializing in graphic and web design, print management / brokering and advertising. Since then she has built this woman-owned business to include regional, national and international clients in a wide range of industries.In that time she's worked with publishing industry greats such as Ingram Spark, Book Baby, KDP Amazon, Pearson Education, Houghton Mifflin and Brown Publishing Network among others.For the last few years Linda has focused on book design and production for authors interested in self-publishing their works along with calendar design and production.
