Jamie Franklin Rowe started educating elementary school students in 1988; specializing in the subjects of Social Studies and -Science. The horrific events of September 11th influenced her to focus on teaching tolerance and the acceptance of others' differences to our future generations. Struggling to find a book to explain these heinous crimes to her young students, motivated the author to write a book explaining that fateful day in words young minds can understand. The author, an upstate New York resident, is the proud mother of Brianna, Taylor, and Alexis. This is her first book for children, dedicated to the victims, families, and heroes of 9/11/2001.
