OverviewTara Lambert is sixteen and her life is a mess. Arguments over her wild behavior have driven her wealthy workaholic parents to divorce. Running a lucrative real estate business, they no longer have time for weekend sailing with Tara, her favorite activity. She rebels by turning to drugs and alcohol. At a private airfield in the Florida Everglades, Tara passes out, then recovers in time to see her parents' Learjet take off. She watches in horror as both engines quit and the plane crashes and burns in the swamp.
