Overview

Fowler Hanson was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Involved in a gunfight simply because he was in the area when cattle were being rustled, he is severely wounded and barely survives. While in the hospital recovering from his injuries, he is accused of having murdered the foreman of a woman he rescued from the rustlers. The woman, also suffering from having been shot, lies unconscious for days and is unable to clear his name. Confusing coincidences convince the small town Marshall that it would be wise to handcuff Hanson to his bed and place a guard on his room, even though he remains in a coma for over a month... while the real murderers set him up to take the fall.
