Merle Cantor Goldberg, LCSW, has specialized in treating eating disorders for over thirty-five years. She is the coauthor of My Thin Excuse. George Cowan, Jr., MD, is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical School. He is the coeditor/coauthor of three textbooks on obesity surgery. William Y. Marcus, MD, is a retired Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at George Washington University Medical School, and has over twenty years of experience in bariatric surgery.
