Weed is a potentially hazardous plants growing in unwanted locations in the farm, which impedes plant growth. Jethro Tull described weed as plants that grow in a place not required. They are simply plants out of place. Over several centuries, the menace of weed has become enormous that its control contributes significant budgetary spending in agricultural total production cost. Globally, weed control has become an integral part of the integrated pest management (IPM) programme. Therefore, practices involved in its handling, control and eradication become imperative for better management.This book reviewed the different weed management practices from conventional practices through cultural and integrated practices employed in its curtailment.
