She is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Griffith University, Australia, exploring how migration experiences are conditioned through materiality, everyday routines and visual aesthetics. Maria Borovnik is a Senior Lecturer in Development Studies at Massey University, New Zealand, co-coordinates the Mobilities Network to Aotearoa New Zealand, is on the Editorial Board of Transfers: Interdisciplinary Journal of Mobility Studies and is Book Review Editor of the New Zealand Geographer. Tim Edensor is Professor of Human Geography at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. He has written books on tourism at the Taj Mahal (1998), national identity and everyday life (2002), industrial ruins (2005), light and dark (2017) and urban materiality (2020).
