Overview

Wolf shifter and fashion designer Zane Bellamy has a secret: he's ""face-blind,"" unable to recognize people easily no matter how often he's seen them. Victoria Hawthorne has a secret, too, but if she's learned anything from teaching first graders, it's that the best way to keep a secret is to not tell anybody. She and Zane have that in common . . . but absolutely nothing else. Haute couture collides with ordinary life when Vicki wins a dress design by Zane himself. She knocks him off his feet when they meet . . . and even so, his face-blindness means he won't recognize her the next time they see each other! Vicki has no real plans to put down roots, especially because some of Virtue's founding families make it clear outsiders are unwelcome. But when local-boy-made-good Zane returns to make her gown, everything changes in a heartbeat--even as Vicki fears there's no way this instant attraction can turn into something lasting. And although Zane can't deny the connection he has with Vicki, he's never really believed in fate . . . until circumstances run out of his control and he realizes he's about to lose everything.

Author Information

Zoe Chant loves writing paranormal romance. Over a cup of tea (or something stronger) she whips up sexy tales of hunky heroes and adventurous heroines to tantalize and satisfy her readers. C. E. Murphy is the author of more than twenty books, including the Walker Papers series and the Negotiator trilogy. Born and raised in Alaska, she has since moved to her ancestral homeland of Ireland. She lives there with her husband, a chef, and three very spoiled pets. Murphy Lawless is *perhaps* the descendant of Irish gangsters exiled to Australia who has made good on the family name and taken to writing passionate, fun-filled stories of paranormal romance and destined love, but she is *definitely* the paranormal romance pen name for SFF novelist CE Murphy/cozy mystery writer Catie Murphy. You can find her under all of those names and more! Madeleine Dauer is a classically trained stage actor, theater artist, and professional film actor. Her theater work focuses primarily on classic texts as well as collaborative, devised pieces that heavily feature movement and puppetry. She has performed in New York City and throughout Connecticut. Erik Bloomquist trained classically at the London Dramatic Academy and holds a degree in theater and dance from Trinity College. He was nominated for a New England Emmy(R) Award for his performance as Allan Archer on the nationally syndicated series The Cobblestone Corridor. A member of Actors' Equity Association, Erik has extensive screen and stage credits, including stints on/at: PBS, Lifetime, Travel Channel, American Heroes Channel, Hartford Stage, and Ivoryton Playhouse. Erik is also a notable (and Emmy Award-winning) writer/director, Halloween enthusiast, and member of Connecticut Magazine's ""40 Under 40: Class of 2019.""
