"Why was there so much confusion about the role of Russia in the 2016 election for so many years when the corroborating data was all over the news and internet since the beginning of the campaign? In the past 3.5 years, we have been bombarded on a daily basis about ""what just had to be connections"" with Russia. LIES, Denials, trials, the Mueller Report, numerous books from both within and outside the WH and an endless barrage on a daily basis from every form of news outlet - except one in particular - whose blatant silence in itself should have been a very huge give away clue! The man called almost anyone and everyone in the world some sort of ""name"" but to anyone's recollection seemingly never called Putin a ""name"" nor would ever denigrate him in any way. On the contrary, almost always complimented him or praised him in some way. We in America have been away from what happened in the 30's in Europe too long to remember how all that went down and how subtly it started. When a leader does something entirely out of character for this part of the world - and in particular for America - all it did was stir up obfuscation as to that person perhaps being a flawed person, or perhaps having a Narcissistic complex or something like that. Americans seemingly could not bring themselves to accept what today seems quite clear that there is perhaps much more than just a casual connection to Russia. If at those times of total confusion one puts ""Russia's Playbook"" before or after the confusing behavior in question - then it almost always makes total sense. Unfortunately, even if that may be true - the ""Truths"" were often entirely hidden by the ""that's a HOAX"" deflection - one of his favorites if not an absolute trademark. One by now has to know that when the ""that's a HOAX"" deflection comes out - you are certainly almost dead on to the absolute truth of what actually has happened! So, we all of us - including his minions - needed a crash course in HOW PUTIN THINKS. Now 3 years later, I fear, that it may be too late!"
