Overview

This book by theologian-ethicist Lewis Mudge offers fresh philosophical and theological concepts, economic and political insights, and practical financial proposals to counter the causes and lasting effects of the worldwide recession that began in late 2007. Lewis S. Mudge (1929 - 2009) was Robert Leighton Stuart Professor of Theology Emeritus at San Francisco Theological Seminary. He also wrote The Gift of Responsibility: The Promise of Dialogue among Christians, Jews, and Muslims, a companion to this volume.
