OverviewThis children's picture book portrays different activities that children of all ethnicities and cultures would most likely enjoy. The intent is to show that although we have a lot of physical differences, we are much more alike than we are different. The use of rhyme and repetition may help children just learning to read to be more successful. The images assist in making a visual connection to the specific activities and stimulate the memory of previous experiences and/or create a desire to have those particular experiences. We hope this is fun for everyone who reads it and for everyone who reads it to someone. These activities come to me from a lifetime of experiences with my own children and grandchildren. Perhaps you also share in these same things or can make up a list of your own. My gratitude to Meana for his creative graphics. You made the book come alive, my friend! I hope you get the chance to illustrate many more books!
