Overview"WATTLE is an electronic package that provides interactive identification and access to information for the 1164 taxa of ""Acacia"" that occur in Australia. All described species of the Australian acacia flora (both native and naturalized) are contained in WATTLE. You can use WATTLE to quickly and accurately identify fresh or dry specimens, irrespective of whether they are in flower or fruit; even sterile material can often be named. WATTLE will provide the following information for each species: botanical descriptions; distribution map; and line drawings, one of which will be annotated to highlight the most critical features of the plant. Supplementary drawings, derived from sources such as Mueller's ""Iconography of Australian Acacias"", Simmons' ""Acacias of Australia"" and Whibley and Symons' ""Acacias of South Australia"" are provided for many species. WATTLE is a product of the Western Australian Department of Conservation and Land Management, and the Australian Biological Resources Study." Full Product DetailsAuthor: Bruce R.
