Overview

Water supply is one of the most critical tasks to address on the fireground. Effective water supply operations not only provide the needed volume of water for the current operation, but they also need to support the flow requirements for escalating incidents. The operator of the supply pumper must think proactively: - Do you want to be an operator who knows what to do when more is needed? - Do you want to be the operator with an impeccable reputation? - Do you want to be the operator everyone looks to for answers? The information in this book is the culmination of institutional knowledge, real-world experience, and lessons learned. Its goal is to provide readers with a thorough understanding of advanced water supply tactics.
