OverviewThis book provides a holistic understanding of the correlation between soluble uranium and water quality parameters, presenting the intricate dynamics that govern uranium solubility in diverse water systems. Uranium, one of the most prevalent and significant radioactive isotopes, has gained considerable attention due to its complex behavior in aquatic environments. Despite its importance, the solubility of uranium remains a critical enigma, intricately tied to the dynamic interplay between water chemistry and uranium interactions with water. The water quality‒uranium solubility nexus addresses this concern, providing a comprehensive exploration of the factors influencing uranium solubility in water, integrating both natural and anthropogenic influences. It consolidates essential information in one place, making it an invaluable resource for researchers, policymakers, education, and industries involved in environmental science and water management. Through a systematic and forward-looking approach, this book highlights key research directions and provides a critical foundation for future studies. This book serves as a crucial reference for understanding and mitigating the challenges associated with uranium contamination in water, benefiting scientists, environmental experts, and anyone concerned with water quality and safety.
