"Dr. P.K. Goel (b. 22-8-55) is Reader and Head of the Department of Pollution Studies, Yashwantrao Chavan College of Science, Karad under Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He did his M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Ecology in 1976 and Ph.D. in. Water Pollution in 1980 from the University of Rajasthan. He taught the subject of pollution at B.Sc. and M.Sc. levels under the course of ""Pollution Studies"" and guided several students for research."
