OverviewWater baptism is necessary for human redemption. There are those who are taught that water baptism has no part in our salvation; that to have faith in the Lord Jesus is all that is necessary. However, the New Testament sets forth very plainly that we must do more than believe in the Lord Jesus if we are to be found acceptable to him. The Son of God only commends those who look to him for salvation. Within the pages of this book, you will become acquainted with the biblical history of water baptism. The author will discuss this ordinance's first appearance in the New Testament, and then follow it through the lives of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, and the teachings of the apostles after Jesus ascended back to the Father.
