He obtained Ph.D. in 1993 from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India. He did post-doctoral work (for almost two years) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee, USA, and been to University of Cergy Pontoise, France and INSA Rennes, France as Visiting Professor. He has more than 17 years of teaching, research, and educational administrative experience.
