Overview

The story takes place in a small New England town, maybe like yours'. Unaware of who was on the other side of the door - the story unfolds, and the horror of that evening is revealed. Paul, her lover, is not able to save her from the events of that night, and their relationship will never be the same. Once post-traumatic stress set in, it would take years for her to recover. The nightmares continued, and the demons lived within her mind. Trying hard not to expose her humiliation to family and friends, she wore a mask of happiness, until the day the mask fell off. Through all the torment, she hung onto her art therapy and the wisdom of Mandy Falk, the instructor. Today she is free of the demons that once haunted her mind.
