Though her health was compromised she accepted and lived with it. Embraced the flaws and side effects caused by the treatment to live a normal life. She was able to join different organizations and communities. A member of DMW-OWWA, Phils, CFC-HOLD-UAE, Brest Friends, Filipina Cancer Warrior-UAE, Majlis Al Amal-Jalila Foundation, Recognized member of Philippine Amateur Judo Association (PAJA), YMCA Baguio City Chapter and a Lector/volunteer Catechist of the Catholic church.
