Author Information

Paul Mango was the deputy chief of staff at the US Department of Health and Human Services during the conception, development, and implementation of Operation Warp Speed. He entered government service with close to thirty years experience as a health-care industry executive and consultant. Prior to this, he served as a field artillery officer in the 82nd Airborne Division. He is a graduate of West Point and the Harvard Business School. Tom Cotton is a Republican senator from Arkansas and author of Sacred Duty and Only the Strong. He is a US Army veteran who served in Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division and in Afghanistan with a Provincial Reconstruction Team and with the Army's 3rd Infantry Regiment at Arlington National Cemetery. He served one term in the House of Representatives before his election to the Senate. In November 2024, he was selected as chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee and chair of the Senate Republican Conference.
