I started my career as a California Real Estate broker, and still have my license 35 years later. But for the last 18 years, I've been a trial lawyer, not just a litigator. I'm not afraid of (and actually enjoy) being in a courtroom. I started Hanson Law Firm to represent and defend real estate brokers, and it still does. I'll also sue the pants off of them when it is appropriate to do so. Same with insurance companies. I've been called ingenious, tenacious, and strategic. I'll take those accolades. The other side calls me a pain in the ass who acts like a junk-yard dog. I really feel bad about that.
