Overview
Walter's Encyclopedia, Academic Edition, is a unique scientific and personal research glossary published by a maverick researcher of our times. This present version of the glossary is addressed to the academic world. The research goes back to 1985 and thus spans a period of almost thirty years. In the first part, Terms, the author uses in his books is explicated. In the second part, Personalities, men and women of fame and renown are described who had at some point in time an impact upon the author's perception and value system. Here is an example: Aquarius Age The age before the Age of Aquarius in which we are heading now, is the Age of Pisces. The Age of Pisces is the time span extending from about 200 BCE (or up to 600 years even earlier) until our times; some astrologers saw the Age of Aquarius starting with the year 2000, some say it's the end of the Mayan Calendar, and thus December 2012 that shall mark the transition, others again speak of the year 2020. In fact, these cosmic transitions proceed very softly, and therefore cannot be rammed into a 1-year span, let alone a singular event. It's more likely to locate the first streaks of Aquarian thinking in the Hippie revolt of the 1970s and to assess the decade 2020 to 2030 to be the decisive take-off for this new paradigm to be socially and culturally implemented and felt by most people.

Author Information
Parallel to a law career in Germany, Switzerland and the United States, Pierre focused upon fine art, astrology, musical performance, social sciences and humanities. He started writing essays as an adolescent and received a high school award for creative writing and editorial work for the school magazine. Upon finalizing his international law doctorate, he privately studied psychology and psychoanalysis and started writing both fiction and nonfiction works. After a second career as a corporate trainer and entrepreneur, Pierre retired as a full-time writer. His nonfiction books emphasize a systemic, holistic, cross-cultural and interdisciplinary perspective, while his fiction works focus upon philosophy, perennial wisdom, and the poetic formulation of an integrative worldview. Pierre is a German-French bilingual native speaker and writes English as his 4th language after German, Latin and French. He also reads source literature for his research in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch. All of Pierre's books are hand-crafted and self-published, designed by the author. Pierre is also a passionate photographer, specialized in architecture, interior design and food photography, as well as object and art photography. Pierre F. Walter publishes via his Delaware firm Sirius-C Media Galaxy LLC and the imprints IPUBLICA and Sirius-C Media (SCM).
