OverviewThe idea of writing this book about Walmart stems from my having worked for that company at their headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas from May of 1995 until August of 2000. As the reader will see, my retirement from Walmart was shortened by a few days when the company fired me for allegedly stealing trade secrets. Walmart filed a civil suit against me accompanied by criminal charges which eventually led to warrants for my arrest by the Benton County prosecuting attorney. When I recently reviewed the Walmart accusations as they were published in the Bentonville local newspaper, I felt like taking Howard Beale's advice by opening a window and shouting I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore. Instead, I decided to write this book and expose the lies that Walmart and the associates involved perpetrated in the court documents and the newspaper. This book, then, will give the reader a view from within as to how Walmart operates from a legal and moral point of view. It will describe events leading up to the civil and criminal accusations and the aftermath of same.
