OverviewWallace Arnold, one of the leading UK coach holiday companies, was established in 1912 and was named after its founders Wallace Cunningham and Arnold Crowe. An innovator of its time, the company operated classic holiday tours up and down the UK to main seaside destinations and was considered the be one of the early holiday pioneers. From these beginnings the company grew and developed, with its coaches becoming a regular sight in bus and coach stations the length and breadth of the country. This new book focuses on the period after World War 2 when the market for coach travel to the seaside and elsewhere grew rapidly. Wallace Arnold was one of the major players in this market and its business flourished.
