Overview

In the 1950s, Childhood trauma forced the Miller sisters to choose different paths to survive their life in the Miller household. One took the path of self-destruction, while the younger sister chose the safer path, comply, surrender, acquiesce; anything, just to survive. Each path was fraught with its own difficulties, but one thing these sisters had in common was that Secrets Keep You Safe. In the 1970s, these sisters are now grown, but they both still hold onto their childhood secrets, like a festering sliver, which will never fully go away. Born in 1953 & 1948, these sisters suffered in Silence, as their parents convinced them that they deserved nothing; and for years they believed that lie, until people wholly disconnected from them stepped into their self-condemning mindsets and shined a light of Hope into these sisters. Hungry for Hope, the Miller sisters responded, changed, grew into remarkable women, but then all their hard work was about to be shattered, and a Murder Trial threatened to expose what they had spent their whole lives hiding.
